Genesis Environmental Solutions, MW Services win $30M remediation contract

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Fort Leavenworth has awarded a $30 million contract to a joint venture between a Blue Springs environmental services company and a California operation.
Genesis Environmental Solutions Inc. and MW Services Inc., based in Temecula, Calif., signed a contract for the job order, which lasts five years.
Environmental remediation work will include: renovation and building demolition repairs; painting; replacement of electrical or fire protection systems; carpentry and interior remodeling work; roofing and siding replacements; and other work throughout the military base in Kansas.
The job, which was awarded July 26, represents Genesis’ largest contract to date.
