The MAMBDC Award was given to Genesis Environmental in 2015. The Light Source Award recognizes suppliers whose successes made a difference in helping KCP&L achieve bottom-line savings, increased revenue or performance results, and who have consistently exhibited a collaborative business relationship with KCP&L.
Genesis Environmental was presented the award of "High Performing Supplier" by the Kansas City Procurement Roundtable (KCPRT) in 2012. Genesis was invited along with 17 other local diverse firms to have performed well for one or more large major corporations in Kansas City.
Genesis Environmental Solutions won the Fast Track Award by the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2012. This award is presented each year by the chamber to recognize Missouri companies that have experienced phenomenal growth over the last three years.
Genesis was selected as MODOT's DBE of the Year in 2012 for its work on the Missouri Safe and Sound Bridge Project. Genesis provided industrial painting services on over 500 bridges statewide.
