The MAMBDC Award was given to Genesis Environmental in 2015. The Light Source Award recognizes suppliers whose successes made a difference in helping KCP&L achieve bottom-line savings, increased revenue or performance results, and who have consistently exhibited a collaborative business relationship with KCP&L.
Genesis Environmental was presented the award of "High Performing Supplier" by the Kansas City Procurement Roundtable (KCPRT) in 2012. Genesis was invited along with 17 other local diverse firms to have performed well for one or more large major corporations in Kansas City.
